Getting to the SEC

You should enter the SEC through the main entrance, which is located across the street from a brick building with a hummingbird mural on it. This entrance is closest to the main elevators and provides the easiest access to the lower levels (where the conference's first two panels will be held).

All parking lots linked below are managed by Harvard Parking Services. Passes must be purchased in advance via HOPPS.

Parking at Main Conference Site

There are two parking lots near the Science and Engineering Complex

- Lot 1 at 114 Western Ave, Allston, MA 02134
- Lot 2 at 2 Hague St., Allston, MA 02134

When traveling to Lot 1, please be sure you are headed to the Western Ave. in Allston not in Cambridge

Other Parking

Thursday Reception at the Harvard Faculty Club: Broadway Garage (7 Felton St., Cambridge, MA 02138).
Saturday Banquet at the Harvard Natural History Museum: Oxford Street Garage (52 Oxford St, Cambridge, MA 02138).
Sunday visits to the Harvard Art Museums: Broadway Garage (7 Felton St., Cambridge, MA 02138)

Harvard Shuttle

All participants are welcome to use the free Harvard Shuttle to travel between the main conference site (the Science & Engineering Complex) and other parts of the Harvard campus.

Hotel Shuttle

For those staying in the conference hotel (the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Boston – Cambridge), there will be a shuttle between the hotel and the main conference site (the Science and Engineering Complex) on Friday and Saturday. In addition, the shuttle will transport participants to/from the Harvard Faculty Club (for Thursday’s reception) and the Harvard Natural History Museum (for Saturday’s dinner).

The shuttle will provide transportation at the following times.

Thursday, April 18

5:15 p.m. Shuttle departs hotel for opening night reception.

5:30 p.m. Shuttle arrives at Harvard Faculty Club (20 Quincy St.)

7:15 p.m. Shuttle departs Harvard Faculty Club and returns to hotel.

Friday, April 19

7:30 a.m. Shuttle departs hotel toward Science & Engineering Complex.

7:30 p.m. Shuttle departs Science & Engineering Complex, returns to hotel.

Saturday, April 20

8:00 a.m. Shuttle departs hotel toward Science & Engineering Complex.

6:30 p.m. Shuttle departs Science & Engineering Complex and returns to hotel.

6:50 p.m. Shuttle departs hotel toward Harvard Natural History Museum.

7:00 p.m. Shuttle arrives at Harvard Natural History Museum

9:00 p.m. Shuttle departs Harvard Natural History Museum and returns to hotel.
